Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake was born July 23, 1976. She's a NASCAR reporter, as well as a Fox Sports college and basketball reporter. She was previously employed by ESPN in which she served as a SportsCenter contributor, providing posts-game and pre-game information. Also, she worked as sideline reporter for ESPN's SEC in ESPN basketball games and college football matches. Spake was also a reporter for the brand-new SEC Network, which is controlled by ESPN. Prior to joining ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June to November 2005) and was also a reporter on the show's first (February through June 2005). Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake as well as Marty Smith. Her previous on-air jobs included those at WCCB and WCCB in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
